The third Tashkent International Investment Forum in Uzbekistan opened on the 2nd in the capital city of Tashkent. This forum lasts for two days, with over 2500 representatives from around the world attending.
Uzbekistan President Mirziyoyev stated at the opening ceremony of the forum that Uzbekistan will prioritize creating a favorable investment environment and expanding opportunities for business development.
He said that in recent years, Uzbekistan's economy has nearly doubled, with a growth rate of 6% last year, steady growth in trade volume, and stable domestic currency and foreign exchange reserves. In recent years, the country has attracted a total of 60 billion US dollars in foreign investment. International financial institutions have invested over 14 billion US dollars in projects in the country's social and infrastructure sectors.
Mirziyoyev pointed out that Uzbekistan has introduced a series of policies to support business development. He also stated that over the past three years, the forum has provided an effective platform for promoting extensive cooperation, exploring urgent issues, and addressing challenges.
The Youzhijun team was invited to attend and signed a memorandum of cooperation with investors in fields such as education, building materials, healthcare, real estate, and agriculture, implementing key steps for investment in Ukraine. In the future, both sides will strengthen understanding, expand investment areas, and achieve win-win cooperation.
